Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's top well-known actors. Linney is renowned for her strong character who are equally fragile. When she was a child, spending time at the house of her father her interest grew for the stage. After studying in Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. Following her graduation, she launched her Broadway career. The following year, she began her career in television. In the years since, she's appeared in numerous TV productions, films as well as stage productions. Through her entire career, she's won numerous awards. These includes 2 Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. Although she received many awards through the years, performing is always her main love.
